This week Tomintoul whisky was in Hungary for the annual whisky festival held by the Whiskynet.hu the show was held at the Corinthia Grand Budapest Hotel on 7th November. With an annual attraction of over 1000 guests, the event enables whiskys lovers to sample their favourite whiskies. A the show guests were able to try our following expressions; Tomintoul 10yo, Tominotul 12 year old sherry, Tominotul 16 year old, and Tomintoul Peaty Tang. Our whisky was said to be very popular amongst guests who often returned for more tasting with our Tomintoul 16 year old still being a favourite having won the award last year for best single malt whisky.

We also held a tutored masterclass in the evening for guests  but was great to hear the views of enthusiastic Tomintoul fans from overseas. The whiskies shown in the masterclass were: Tomintoul 10yo, Tominotul 12 year old sherry, Tominotul 16 year old, Tomintoul Peaty Tang and the Old Ballantruan 10 year old.

Angus Dundee hosted a tasting event for guests in Beijing. The event took place in June earlier this year where guests were treated to our whisky alongside Glencadam and The Old Ballantruan. Pictures above were taken at the event, and as always, it was a great pleasure introducing people to the Tomintoul Whisky family (including those who already knew about our products).
